Christmas Eve

Shane worked the first half of the day on Christmas Eve, then we headed up to his parent's house for dinner and presents. I don't have any pictures because I'm a slacker. Sorry!

When we got home, the kids got to open their Christmas Eve pajamas.

Chuck-E-Cheese with the Coltons

We were so, so, SO excited to have the Colton family stay with us for a couple of nights before Christmas. I didn't tell the kids they were coming, and Kaden's was floored when he saw them at our door. While the boys went to see the newest (and last, thankfully) Hobbit movie (thanks again, Scott!!), Kelly and I took the kids to Chuck-E-Cheese.

Then we drove through the Layton lights, which is way better than having to get out in the cold and walk around.

Ward Christmas Party

The person in charge of our ward Christmas party last month is also the drama teacher at Davis High School. I knew her from my days back in drama at Clearfield High because my teacher and her were/are really good friends, so we traveled with their group a lot. Anyway, I didn't know what to expect with her at the helm, but I knew it'd be good. She didn't disappoint. ;)

She and her committee had set up the gym to look like a market in Bethlehem 2,000+ years ago. It was awesome and I'm so mad I didn't get any pictures of the market part. While everyone was sitting on blankets eating (unleavened bread, meat, fruits, and veggies), some of her current drama students reenacted the nativity.

It was beautifully done and a perfect night. By far my favorite ward Christmas party I've ever been to.

Voyage Christmas Program

The kid's school had their annual Christmas program. It was so cute and I wish they would turn on more lights so that my camera could get better pictures. Oh well. Here are dark, blurry pictures. Enjoy! ;)
