Last soccer game!!!!!!!!!!

Tonight was Kaden's last soccer game with the retched jamboree style!!!!!!  WOO!!!!!

Kaden didn't have a nap today, so he was extra emotional at the game.  *sigh*

I was trying to get a nice picture of him by the net, but all he did was cry about the sun, so this is what we got.

Love her expressions!

We love our YooHoos.

Finally happy after the game with his trophy!

I'm really excited to see how he does in the fall with the same coach and team every week!

Random

I need to come up with a better title than "random" because I have a LOT of random posts.  Any thoughts, ladies?

First up, Ari thoroughly enjoying birthday cake from my little brother's party.

"AAAAAH!"
Shane sent me the pictures from his phone that he took at Boondocks while Kaden and he were doing the bumper boats.  Kaden had a blast!

And last, but not least, remember how Steph and I went to The Melting Pot and got free chocolate covered strawberries?  Well, that....inspired us.  Remember how her little brother is getting married this weekend?  Steph thought it would be cool to try and copy the tux and wedding dress strawberries that are so famous from Pinterest.  We had a day to kill today, so we baked!  :)

She did the dresses and I did the tuxes.

Not too shabby

I was just messing around with these ones.
She took the strawberries to Jared and Holly tonight, so hopefully they like them and ignore the imperfections!  ;)

Girl's Night

Before I get to my post, I have to post these pictures I found on my phone from our Park City trip.

Good morning!

This is Emma, my permanent babysitter while we were there.  :)

While Steph and Danny are in town this week, she said that we needed to do a girl's night, since it's been a looong time since she and I have done one.  Thanks to the Park City outlets, we were both sick of shopping, so we decided to splurge on dinner instead.  We ended up at The Melting Pot in Salt Lake.  :D  I've been there before, but only gotten dessert.  Steph and I got the whole shebang.  YUM!

YUUUUMMMMMMMM!!

Our server was awesome.  And she totally loved us, too.  I told her it was Steph's birthday the next day (I didn't lie! It really was!), the server said that they don't technically do anything for birthdays, but she would see what she could come up with.  She ended up bringing out some free chocolate covered strawberries (complete with a candle) for us!

It was SO. MUCH. FUN!

Memorial weekend

We had a GREAT vacation over Memorial Day weekend!  Our friends, Danny and Steph, came into town (from Wisconsin) because her brother, Jared, is getting married June 1st, so they came early to see everyone.  We started out by going to a Real game Saturday night.

This is Jared (Steph's brother). He and Ari played throughout the entire game.  It was adorable!

Ari, Jared, Holly, Holly's parents, and Lexi is on Danny's lap.

After the game (Real tied with Chicago, 1-1), we all headed up to a cabin in Coalville (about 15 minutes from Park City) Danny and Steph had gotten for the weekend for everyone.

Kitchen and living room area
More of the kitchen/dining room area
This was our family's' room.
I should have taken pictures before we messed everything up...  :)
Our bathroom (one of the many)
Theater room in the basement.
There was SO much to do at the cabin!

CREEPY!!!!!

View from the game loft upstairs

We named him Elliot the Elk
We got to the cabin around midnight Saturday.  Ari looked up at the elk and gasped in horror, "Santa's reindeer!!"  Steph said that the other half was outside and that he was just watching the kids for Santa.  Still kinda creepy, but brilliant.  ;)

The weather was gorgeous the whole weekend, and there was plenty to do outside.  I didn't get a picture of the hot tub, but trust me, it was used and loved.

That is Emma, Danny's niece, who listened to whatever Lexi said the whole time.  I feel like I owe her babysitting money or something...

Ari hardly slept at all on Sunday, so Monday morning, she was TIRED.

Fighting sleep...

Danny thought it would be a good idea to "rock" her to sleep on the swing.  Until he sat down and realized what a bad idea that was.  hahahaha

She did fall asleep pretty quickly...and then slept for four hours.  She only got up then because I woke her up.

Plenty of games to play!

A matching Jared and Holly joined us on Monday afternoon.

Sand(ish) volleyball!

This was my team.  :)  We won.

Danny, Steph, Jared, and Holly playing horseshoes.

We headed out after dinner on Monday, since Shane had to work Tuesday (today).  Lexi fell asleep on the couch right before we left, then woke up long enough to walk to the van and eat fruit snacks, then fell asleep again.  Ari had had a long enough nap earlier that she was fine and ate snacks while watching Shrek.  Kaden held on as long as he could, but he didn't make it home awake, either.
This means it was a great trip.
We pulled in the garage and Kaden opened his eyes enough to say, "Can I please go to bed?"
It was a great vacation!
